Porsche has revealed new information about the most powerful version of Panamera Turbo, the Turbo S is expected to be present in the market in June at the New York or Shanghai Auto Show.
Porsche Panamera Turbo S is equipped with 4.8-liters V8 bi-turbo engine, capacity of 542 hp (405kW) increased significantly compared with the 493 hp of the previous versions and a maximum torque of 800 Nm or 590 lb-ft.
Thanks to a record capacity, the Turbo S can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds before reaching a top speed of 306 km/h.
The power boost was achieved by means of new titanium-aluminum turbines for the bi-turbo system and optimized engine management. Porsche has also kept an eye on fuel-economy with the Turbo S which has a consumption rating of 11.3 liters/100 km.
The Turbo S more prominent than the other versions with the metastable alloy wheels 19 or 20 inches, the high-performance tires of Michelin.
In addition, the Panamera Turbo S is equipped with advanced technologies such as Dynamic Chassis Control and the Sport Chrono Package Turbo.
The Panamera Turbo S is priced at € 167,076 in Germany, including VAT.
