From the firm’s European headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, recently, Toyota launched the latest pictures of Toyota FT-86 sports concept II.
The second generation concept of FT-86 study was first published at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this month, expected, the production version will appear in the market in late 2012.
Toyota FT-86 II has a lot of changes compared with the FT-86 was first published at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show. The FT-86 II also offers new look, including new front bumper with the center grille larger, moreover, the system LED lights along make the FT-86 II more nice.
The new rear drive coupe is being developed in cooperation with Subaru and will appear in other versions of Subaru in the future. Both models will share chassis systems and technologies, the 2.0-liter boxer engine and 6-speed transmission.
Toyota said, the sports coupe will stand out for its light weight and low centre of gravity, offering an “optimum power-to-weight ratio”, however, more details has not been revealed.
