Alfa Romeo 4C Concept debut in 2012

First appearance at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, Alfa Romeo 4C Concept is expected to be sold on the market in 2012.

Alfa Romeo 4C concept only 2 seats, use transmission rear axle, mid-engined, with overall length of 4 meters and wheelbase less than 2.4 meters.

Most of the technological equipped for the Alfa Romeo 4C is inherited by the 8C Competizione and the 8C Spider with chassis made ​​of carbon fiber so weight the 4C only about 850 kg.

The 4C concept uses gasoline engine turbocharged 4 cylinder 1.75L, capacity of 250 horsepower, this engine uses direct fuel injection technology, combined with dual-clutch gearbox Alfa TCT, capacity of 200 hp (147 kW/197 hp). This combination allows the car accelerates from 0-100 km/h about 5 seconds, and reaches a maximum speed of 250 km/h (155 miles).
