Kia Venga EV has appeared in Geneva 2010. It is equipped with an electric motor, capacity of 80kW (equivalent to 100 hp) and torque of 206 lb-ft. The car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 11.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 140 km/h.
The Venga EV use lithium-ion polymer battery, helps the car to operate continuously 180 km. With a quick charging function, the battery will be charged 80 % in 20 minutes and need 8 hours to fully charge the battery.
Kia said, the Venga EV will up production lines in 2013. Estimated number of vehicles shipped in the first year is 2,000 units. Current sale price has not been disclosed.
