Putting aside some minor details such as the lower parts of the front and rear bumpers, and the less extravagant choice of alloy wheels, nothing else has changed from the concept model. Engine options will likely include a 2.5-liter V6 engine, capacity of 182 hp and 232 Nm of torque or a 3.5-liter V6 engine, capacity of 251 hp and 335 Nm of torque.
Under the plan, the SM7 will replace its Nissan Maxima-based namesake as the company’s top offering in the South Korean market, with sales set to start this summer. Besides, Renault is said to be considering adding the SM7 to its lineup under the possible name Safrane.
