2012 Opel Astra GTC will officially debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show later this year. As revealed by the manufacturer, the new Opel Astra GTC comes with a choice of four engines:
- A 2.0-liter diesel engine, capacity of 165 hp and 380 Nm of torque. The car accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 8.9 seconds and reached a top speed of 210 km/h. Estimated fuel economy comes in at 4.9-liter per 100 km .
- A Turbo 1.4-liter gasoline engine, capacity of 120 hp, along with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
- A Turbo 1.4-liter gasoline engine, capacity of 140 hp, along with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
- A Turbo 1.6-liter gasoline engine, capacity of 180 hp, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox with a top speed of 220 km/h.
In the UK market, the 2012 Opel Astra GTC has a starting price of €18,495.
