This time, according to Auto Bild, the SLC will be equipped an engine with capacity up to 493 hp and be positioned as a rival to the Porsche 911.
For reasons of price, the SLC would lose the gullwing doors of the larger SLC AMG. Besides, a model with capacity of 345 hp will cost less than €100,000.
Auto Bild said, there are two scenarios for the SLC - the car will launch in 2014 or will become a successor to the SLS in 2016.
