2012 Volkswagen Beetle Priced From $18,995

Recently, Volkswagen has officially announced pricing for the 2012 Beetle. Accordingly, the 2012 Beetle is equipped with a 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine, capacity of 170 hp, priced from $18,995 (excluding $770 in destination charges). When equipped with the standard 5-speed manual gearbox, fuel consumption of 10.7-liter per 100 km in the city and 7.8-liter per 100 km on the highway.

Meanwhile, the 2012 Beetle is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, capacity of 200 hp, priced from $23,395, fuel consumption of 10.7-liter per 100 km in the city and 7.6-liter per 100 km on the highway when equipped with the optional DSG gearbox. With this version, the car will be provided Bluetooth and iPod connectivity, larger brakes with red calipers, a spoiler and metal pedals.


Currently, Volkswagen has not announced pricing for the model equipped with 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine, fuel consumption of 5.8-liter per 100 km on the highway. With capacity of 140 hp and 236 lb-ft of torque, the 2012 Beetle will become the most efficient car in the nameplate's history.

When present in the market, the 2012 Volkswagen Beetle will be divided into three trim levels. More specially, the Fender audio system on the 2012 Passat is also equipped for the new Beetle.
