Ford Fiesta ST will be available starting on the market next year to compete with the 200 Renault Sport Clio and Seat Ibiza Cupra and Volkswagen Polo GTI.
The new Fiesta ST is equipped with an EcoBoost 1.6-liter turbocharged engine similar the Fiesta WRC, capacity of 182 horsepower and 6-speed gearbox.
Currently, the operation parameter of the new Fiesta ST has not been disclosed. However, to compete with the 200 Renault Sport Clio, the Fiesta ST can be owned operating parameters equivalent. Specifically, the 200 Renault Sport Clio with a capacity of 197 hp, can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and top speed of 227 km/h.
The Fiesta ST's price has not been announced. Expected, the Fiesta ST will be priced starting at £ 16,500 (approximately $ 26,952) when officially available on the market in late 2012.
