The GT3 RS 4.0 is equipped a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat six-cylinder engine. The 911 GT3 RS 4.0 is essentially a road going version of the 911 GT3 RSR race car - but with one major different, more power!
With no race category regulations to worry about, power in the 911 GT3 RS 4.0 has been dialed up to an even 500 horsepower, 45 horsepower more than the fully fledged race car and more than 50 horsepower more than the regular 911 GT3 RS on which it’s based. Besides, the unique features such as a large GT style rear wing, carbon fiber hood and trunk panels and riveted RSR-style widened front and rear wheel arches.
Prices in Europe are expected to start at € 149,990 (approximately $217,350) before taxes. Though this price may seem steep but this is still an appropriate price for the final member of the current generation 997 before being replaced by the 2012 Porsche 911, also known by the code name '991'.
