Under the hood, the prototype features a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder TSI engine with 210 hp and the possibility of four-wheel drive. If this is correct, the Polo R can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in approximately 6 seconds and hit a top speed of more than 242 km/h.
The Polo R will likely be launched late next year with a price-tag of around £24,000.
