The first 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 has been sold for $250,000 at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Las Vegas.
When the hammer came down, the winner is Rick Hendrick, owner of Hendrick Motorsports and chairman of Hendrick Automotive Group.
Offered by Fairway Chevrolet, the Camaro ZL1 will feature an exclusive Carbon Flash Metallic exterior color. Additionally, 100% of the proceeds will benefit the YMCA of Southern Nevada.
As we have reported, the model is equipped by a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine with 580 hp and 754 Nm of torque.
