Gordon Murray Design has developed a new electric sportscar, called the Teewave AR1.
Commissioned by Toray, the prototype is a 2-seater sports car and features a carbon fiber monocoque chassis and body components.
The Teewave AR1 is equipped by an electric motor with 64 PS (47 kW / 63 hp) and 180 Nm of torque. This enables the 850 kg roadster to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 11.4 seconds and hit a top speed of 147 km/h. The estimated range is 186 km and it can be fully recharged in 6 hours.
