The prototype has an aggressive front fascia, large air intakes, a sport-tuned suspension, a massive dual exhaust system and and wider fenders. The model is set to be launched in May 2012.
There is no change in the RS4′s engine in comparison to the RS5. So power comes from a 4.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine with 450 hp and 430 Nm of torque. The car accelerates from 0-100 km/h in under 5 seconds.
