Though the CR-V won't be the only vehicle in the Japanese automaker's stable impacted by the events. Bloomberg said, the recently unveiled 2012 Honda Civic will see limited production for the next few months.
According to Honda, it will begin production of the CR-V at the plant in Alliston, Ontario, Canada. Meanwhile, factories in East Liberty, Ohio, the U.S. will continue to assemble the CR-V as before.
Like most Japanese automakers, Honda also have to wait until the end of 2011 to complete restore the production line. Toyota recently announced that the company's operations have been cut to 50% capacity and that it doesn't expect to see full production again until December at the earliest.
