Not long after Aston Martin, Ferrari has opened the first dealership in India, located in New Delhi.
Opening ceremony held yesterday, which was hosted by Ferrari CEO Amedeo Felisa, Ferrari Commercial and Marketing Director Enrico Galliera and Ashish Chordia, Chairman of the Shreyans Group. Shreyans is a genuine distributors of Porsche, Maserati and Ducati in India.
India is the 58th country where Ferrari is present in the world. Ferrari will offer its full range of cars including the California, 458 Italia, 599 GTB Fiorano and the FF. The cheapest model is the Ferrari California, priced from 22 million rupees (US$ 485,300 or € 354,000), while the most expensive is the new FF, priced from 34.1 million rupee (US$ 752,000 or € 535,000).
“Our objective was to launch the Indian market in 2011 and it 's a pleasure to inaugurate this first dealership here today,” said Amedeo Felisa. “We feel that this is the right moment, considering the dynamism of the country and its economy in India."
Ferrari is expected to open more dealerships in India in the next three years.
In mid April, Aston Martin has also opened the first dealership in India, bringing the total to 134 dealerships in 42 countries worldwide.
