As you all know, Saab is fighting for survival at the moment, but there's light at the end of the tunnel as the 9-4X has been launched in the US. Under the plan, Saab is set to fight back with the new midsize crossover SUV.
The first model was sold over the weekend and Saab has already garnered bookings for a hundred more. In the U.S., Saab only sold 323 vehicles in June, so they'll take every buyer they can get.
The 9-4X is priced from $34,205 and features a 3.0-liter V6 engine with 265 PS (195 kW / 262 hp) and 302 Nm (223 lb-ft) of torque. A high-performance Aero is also available for $48,835 and features a turbocharged 2.8-liter V6 engine with 300 PS (221 kW / 296 hp) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque.
