The R8 facelift will launch next year with a range of stronger engines. The 4.2-liter V8 will produce 444 hp, up from 424 hp, while the 5.2-liter V10 will be tuned to a 533 hp, up from 518 hp. More importantly, sources reported that the 7-speed dual clutch S-tronic transmission which would likely replace the current R-tronic.
Styling changes will likely be minor, so expected restyled headlights, changes to the LED spacing and modest tweaks to the fascias. The rumours also reveal that there will be new GT and GT Spyder variants.
