Lexus has announced plans to introduce the next generation GS 350 at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in California on August 18.
"Our customers have been waiting for a new GS that's more intense in every way," commented Mark Templin, Lexus group vice president and general manager. "They'll soon discover this GS was well worth the wait."
The Japanese company claims that the model will have a “more defined and emotional design philosophy featuring a new distinctive front grille and a number of styling cues that will soon be seen on all future Lexus cars”.
At launch, the new GS will be equipped exclusively by a 3.5-liter V6 engine, along with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Furthermore, we can expect a hybrid version to be introduced at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show and an F Sport version to debut at SEMA. However, the GS-F seems increasingly unlikely.
