The Grand Am is based on the European GT3 version of the 458 Italia and and is built to match the American regulations. As such, the car is equipped by a V8 engine with 500 PS (368 kW / 493 hp), a roll bar and Continental tires. Besides, the Grand Am sports a modified braking system, as the car has neither ABS nor traction control.
