The first spy shots of the upcoming 2012 Audi S6 emerged in March. This time, we for you the photos of the car in testing again, including shots of the carbon fiber-clad interior.
The car is distinguished by an aggressive front fascia, lower side skirts, and quad exhaust tips nestled in the rear bumper. Additionally, the California version has a revised interior with carbon fiber trim, a unique instrument cluster and a three-spoke steering wheel.
The car is expected to be equipped by a 4.0-liter V8 engine with 440 hp. This is only 5 hp more than the current 2011 S6, but fuel-efficiency will likely improve significantly.
We expect the S6 to make its debut at the Frankfurt or Los Angeles Auto Show, though it's possible it may wait longer.
