Chrysler-Lancia CEO Saad Chehab has confirmed to Autocar that the company will not build a new 300 Touring.

The 300C wagon was popular on European markets but the executive said "sales in the US, for estates, are too slow to justify the development costs." However, Chehab explained that the company is working on an all-wheel-drive version of the Chrysler 300C and feature an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

Meanwhile, Chehab also hinted the 300C SRT8 - which features a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine with 465 hp and 630 Nm of torque - could be offered in Europe.
