According to a recent report, Audi is planning to introduce a “baby” R8, which will rival with the new Jaguar C-X16.
Called the R4, the new model will be powered by a 2.5 liter 5-cylinder turbo engine with around 400 hp, along with the Quattro all-wheel drive system. In addition, a possible hybrid being offered later on.
No infomation about the engine platform, but the Audi R4 is expected to take at least three years to hit the market and pricing around £50,000.
