Lotus Evora GTE Road Car concept
Lotus has announced today that it will introduce the Evora GTE Road Car concept at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
Essentially a road-going version of the Evora GTE racer, the concept features an aggressive front splitter to go with a U-shaped rear spoiler, ventilated fenders, a prominent rear spoiler and ultra-lightweight forged alloy wheels with center-lock hubs and Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires.
The concept is said to carry a race-tuned 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 420 hp. It is connected to a sequential AMT racing gearbox and the model is slightly faster than the Evora S.
Pricing has not been announced.
