Under the hood of the next S3 is expected to be a brand new turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder unit with around 280 PS (206 kW / 276 bhp) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. Transmission options should include a standard 6-speed manual gearbox and an S tronic dual clutch.
