2012 Nissan Versa/Sunny on road test

The paparazzi have captured a lightly camouflaged prototype of Nissan Versa / Sunny, during testing in Sierra Nevada, Spain.

Nissan Versa, also known as Sunny in the Chinese market and Micra in Europe have been sold in over 170 countries worldwide, which focusing on three potential markets are Europe, America and China.


Compared to the previous generation, 2012 Nissan Versa/Sunny with a few differences such as the exhaust system is expanded and possibly the headlamp and tail lamp designs.

Developed based on Nissan V platform, in China, Nissan Sunny is equipped by a 1.5-liter HR15DE four-cylinder engine, with prices ranging from  US$12,700 - $17,400. While the North American specification Versa comes with a 1.6-liter engine, capacity of 109 hp and is priced from US$ 10,990.

In Europe, Nissan Micra is equipped by a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder gasoline engine, a naturally aspirated version delivering 80 hp and a turbocharged variant producing 98 hp.

According to our speculation, the countries of Eastern and Southern Europe along with Russia will be the first to receive the car.
