As planned, the 2012 Audi S8 will be unveiled at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show. The car is equipped by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, capacity of 500 hp, an increase of 50 hp over the previous S8. The engine is linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission and Quattro AWD comes standard.

Meanwhile, the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show will see the introduction of the Audi S6 and S7. Both will use the 4.0-liter engine. However it is unknown at this stage if they will be turbocharged, capacity of 440 hp for the S6 and 470 hp for the S7.

The 2013 Audi RS6 will share the engine with the 2012 Audi S8, the total capacity of 580 hp, which is 20 hp more than the 2012 BMW F10 M5. Similar to the S-series, the RS7 will have 20 hp more than the RS6.
