More Powerful 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe

According to Inside Line, the 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe will debut at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show next January.

Developed to become competitors with the Ford Mustang, the 2012 Genesis Coupe was upgraded the exterior and interior includes a new grille and improved cavity inlet. However, the most significant upgrade of the new generation Genesis is the engine.


The car is equipped with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, capacity of 210 hp, 223 lb-ft of torque, or a 3.8-liter V6 engine, capacity of 306 hp and 266 lb-ft of torque.

Currently, the 2.0-liter engine comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox or 5-speed automatic transmission. The 3.8-liter V6 engine comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission and 4WD system.

The price of the car has not been disclosed.
